These courses have been developed by Nuco Training Ltd and are 'Ofqual Accredited' courses - the awarding organisation is First Aid Awards (FAA).
As a Nuco Training 'Approved Instructor', Nuco’s First Aid for Mental Health programme has been developed using the latest research and information from some of the world’s largest medical institutions and they ensure all knowledge that is achieved through attendance is up to date.
These courses provide learners with the knowledge to recognise a range of Mental Health conditions, how to start a supportive conversation and when and how to signpost a person to seek appropriate professional help - we are not teaching our students to 'diagnose' or 'treat' conditions, as this can only be carried out by healthcare professionals.
Please do not send anyone on either of the First Aid for Mental Health course without fully briefing them on the content that will be covered in these courses.
