Hello my name is Martin Vass (Owner) of Ashford First Aid Training.
I am a full time First Aid trainer and have my own well equipped training centre, which also has plenty of free parking.
My centre is registered as a Qualsafe Awards Approved Centre (0906279).
I have Internal Quality Assurance policies & procedures in place, all of which are Externally Audited by Qualsafe Awards.
Qualsafe Awards keep me fully up to date with Health & Safety Executives (HSE) + the Resuscitation Council U.K (RC UK).
All of my courses are "Ofqual Accredited", my Paediatric courses are Ofsted approved, all certificates are valid for 3 years.
Whether your company requires you to train or you simply want to learn, the way that your instructor teaches you will ultimately give you the knowledge and confidence to try to provide help when any medical emergencies.
All of my clients agree and are happy to recommend me.
If you prefer, any of my courses can be held at your place, based on a minimum of 8 people. All I ask is that your venue has sufficient "Safe Space" for the number of people on the course.
Please do not not attend my classes if you have “Any Flu or any of the known Covid or Variant Symptoms”
or if you should be isolating. I reserve the right to exclude anyone I feel may endanger me or my guests.
Face Masks: I am not enforcing the wearing of face masks, please have one with you and choose if and when you wear it, I am however going to ensure that we all respect each other at all times.
I am still going to be asking everyone to use sanitiser on arrival and wash their hands and sanitise regularly.
This is the winter season, whilst I have heating, I advise that you bring extra levels of clothing for those really cold days.
I recognise that it is important to deliver all of my courses in a more engaging and personalised way.
I guarantee that everyone will have the opportunity to practice every skill so that you are confident and prepared to recognise a medical emergency and react safely & quickly in providing that initial critical care that is potentially needed, which is why I encourage working as a team on all of my courses, yet still maintaining "Safe Distancing".
There will be no sharing of any training equipment.
Every student will have the use of their own manikins
for CPR Training. Disposable "CPR" face shields
and Nitrile Gloves will be used at all times.
I never re-use bandages/triangular bandages, everything is new and only ever used once, then disposed of.
I will provide your own personal sanitiser & tissues.
I won't even let you wash up either!
Once on Wotton road turn in to Ellingham Way, then:
"Please do not park in the lay by opposite me", as these spaces are private bays.
