At school I achieved Bronze - Silver - Gold personal survival swimming Awards

Qualified as a life guard (Towers Secondary School, Ashford, Kent)

Completed my Duke of Edinburgh (DoE).

Competed in Judo, Grade: Black Belt 1st Dan. Knee injury prevented progression.

As a teenager I volunteered for KCC Youth Services (Shuttle Leisure Van, then run by Stan Hastie & Mike Sheridan), visiting youth centres, teaching Judo/ Self Defence.

I have been a qualified first aider from the first day of my working life (1981). I am a registered Good Sam Responder, First Aid Responder at many types of events and for various organisations & charities that are involved within the "Night time Economy". 

I am a PADI Divemaster & Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor (259221).

I have worked under/ With various PADI Course Directors/ Instructors helping qualify a very large amount of new divers and those progressing through new qualifications.

I have my  RYA powerboat level 2 & VHF License

I owned a Pest Control company (Est: 1997 - 2020)

"Ashford Pest Control Ltd" 

having started at Rentokil and worked for Ecolab.

I have a BPCA Diploma in Pest Management & a vast amount of other qualifications in Health & Safety, Auditing, Health & Hygiene.

I have been truly blessed to work with a huge amount of people from all walks of life, many of which have worked for or are working in the NHS, Police Force, Fire Brigade and the Coastguards, all of which have helped me develop my skills and understanding allowing me to constantly evolve my teaching skills.

As a first aid trainer alone I have qualified 7000+ new First Aiders, this number continues to grow as I am passionate about teaching and promoting this very important life skill.

Having only ever worked for national companies, been my own boss and employed my own staff and managers, I am not only highly qualified in all areas of Health & Safety on both land and in water, I also have age and experience to be able to bring realism to the subjects I teach.
